Cleaning agents containing chlorine or hydrochloric acid should be avoided if you want to maintain the high-quality Durinox look. To avoid damaging the surface of your Durinox sink or worktop, do not clean it with steel wool, as this will cause scratches and permanent damage to the stainless steel surface. You should also avoid direct prolonged contact with rusty iron items like cast-iron pans, as these can leave unsightly marks.
Daily Cleaning
A soft sponge or damp microfibre cloth are fine for everyday cleaning. Go over the wet sink thoroughly with a soft sponge to loosen any dirt. Pay particular attention to the corner radii and the basket strainer, as this is where most of the dirt particles usually settle.
Deep Cleaning
Do not use any polishing agents when you do an occasional deep clean of Durinox surfaces. You can use vinegar-based or citrus cleaner to remove limescale or minor dirt.
